Who Would Have Thought Chapter 50 Part IEnjoy!!!
Who Would Have Thought Josh P.O.V. 2 and a half weeks later "You're shaking too much," complained Jeremy as he tried to re-do my bow tie. "Do you really want me to mess this up?" "I can't help it," I told him, shaking even more. "I'm nervous." "What now?" sighed Jeremy as he finally tied the knot before leaning away, examining his work. "You afraid you're going to jump on Hayley and make out with her in the church because you think she's too damn beautiful in her wedding dress?" "Shut up," I muttered, my face going red. "I haven't even seen the dress yet...plus I have self control." "Sure you do," commented Jeremy, rolling his eyes, smirking a bit. "Will you just shut up?"I hissed, looking around the crowded dressing room and checking to see if any of the groomsmen were listening. There were eleven guys, in total, inside this room. They included the pastor, cousins of Hayley and mine, my brothers, my dad, and little Daniel who was in Zac and Taylor's arms playing airplane. "You better be careful," Jeremy warned Taylor and Zac, who were zooming past us. "Sarah is going to be pissed if Daniel's hair isn't the same as it was an hour ago." They didn't seem to hear him as they started spinning Daniel around the room, Daniel's hair obviously getting messed up. I rolled my eyes. We'll deal with them later. Jeremy just rolled his eyes again as he turned back to me. He let out a chuckle when he realized I was still shaking from my nerves. "Dude, I told you to calm down. You're getting married for Christ sakes not going to your death sentence." "You were worst," I muttered, crossing my arms to try to stop myself from shaking...it wasn't working. "You almost peed in your pants." "Almost," emphasized Jeremy. "Luckily, I was near the bathroom or I would have been in serious trouble." Jeremy then clasped my shoulder, grinning. "Everything is going to be perfect, just relax. If it helps, maybe you should picture everybody at the church naked...or just a certain someone who you are going to be marrying in fifteen minutes." He grinned wider. "What the hell is wrong with you?" I exclaimed. "You are more perverted than usual." "I can't help it," laughed Jeremy. "I mean, how can I not? My best friend was on Fox News, MSNBC and CNN...for making out with his girl in a public hospital." Jeremy laughed harder. I gave Jeremy a murderous glare. Of course he will be talking about that; I shouldn't have been so clueless. He had been bugging me about that crap since he busted into my hospital room just two weeks before. I still really can't believe he found out...or that Hayley had known but had apparently 'forgotten' to tell me about it, even after the annoying nurse had told her that a couple minutes before our mini-make out session. Jeremy had evidently found out when he was watching the morning news while getting ready work. After figuring out it was Hayley and I (since the news people didn't know who we were; they still don't) and laughing about it for a freaking hour and a half, he decided to call my family and tell them the big news before going to the hospital to get more information so he could humiliate me more. Zac and my mom came along with him, not believing Jeremy's story...well until Zac opened my hospital door and saw Hayley and I about to rip each other clothes off. Zac covered his eyes, Jeremy laughed like hyena, and my mother went into shock. The memory still haunted me in my sleep. And to make it worst, the video actually became a featured video on youtube...and still is. Currently, it has ten million hits on youtube and that doesn't even count the other videos of us making out taking recorded by other people in the hospital. I still can't remember what happened that night in the hospital. Some things stick out, like annoying nurse and Hayley holding me in her arms, but that was basically it. Everything else was just a blur. Thank god, nobody else knows that it was Hayley and I in that video or I will be totally screwed. People, however, who know about the video are always make jokes about it that always make me squirm in my seat. It is pretty embarrassing. The only people who actually know the truth are Jeremy, Zac, Sarah, Emily, Bekah, a girl name Hannah who goes to class with Hayles, Hayle's and my mom, my dad, and little Daniel(Because Jeremy won't stop bragging about it to him). Most of the relatives who are here, don't' know that it was me and Hayles on the tape; I don't plan to tell them either, I'm already embarrassed enough. Nonetheless, I'm still glad about the interruption. I mean, Hayley and I had broken almost every single rule in the agreement that we had made only a couple months ago. No excessive touching, hugging, kissing, keeping our hands in our pockets, and all that other affectionate stuff. I knew how much the agreement meant to Hayley...well how much it use to be mean to her....and I didn't want to break it. However, Hayley was making it very, very hard for us to keep the promise. After I was released from the hospital and we were just chilling in our apartment bedroom, Hayles told me that the agreement should be void since she cancelled the engagement plus she didn't even like the agreement anyway. I really wanted to go with it since the agreement was such a pain in the ass, but I vouched to keep it. Hayley mouth actually dropped open when I told her this and I wasn't really surprised. I mean, I was against the agreement since the beginning and I really didn't even follow them half the time. Hayley was about to protest but I interrupting her telling her the date I wanted to get married...April 16, which was two and a half weeks away...the original date of the wedding. Hayley literally attacked me when I told her the news and almost bruised my ribs again. I don't think I would have cared then. We were finally getting married again and that was all that matter. "Why are you smiling?" inquired Jeremy, breaking into my thoughts. "Memories finally returning?" He gave me a mischievous grin, raising his eyebrows. I gave Jeremy a cold glare. "I was freaking drugged," I hissed. "I didn't even know what I was doing." "Hayley did," giggled Jeremy. "And she seemed to have enjoyed it...very, very much...he, he." I gave Jeremy another glare. "Is it too late for me to kick you out of this wedding?" "Why would you do that?" he inquired. "I'm just stating the facts." "You're pissing me off." "Come on, don't you want to relive the memory?" "I think I will prefer seeing the face you will make when I shove my foot right up your-" "Guys," interjected my Zac, placing Daniel down on the floor. Once his feet reached the floor, Daniel started giggling before hitting Zac on the leg and then going around the room screaming the word 'it' and hitting other people's legs. When he reached Taylor and tried to hit him, Taylor grabbed him and started spinning him around, Daniel's blonde hair now in disarray. I withheld a sign. "Don't tell me you are discussing that again," whispered Zac to Jeremy, giving him a look. "Not really," lied Jeremy. "Yes he was," I corrected, walking up to my little brother. "He never stops talking about." "Well you did make CNN-" Zac shut up when he saw the look on my face...he even turned a bit pale. I knew my facial expression was a pretty unsettling but I didn't care. If they were really my friends, they would just keep their mouth shuts and keep me happy. "You would think the man would be happy that he is a youtube superstar," Jeremy muttered. I'm going to kill Jeremy one day, I swear. I turned to Zac, thinking about helping me try to think of ways to torture Jeremy when I noticed him taking out his cell phone and start to smile as he read something on it; looking like he was trying not to laugh. He quickly replied something back before sliding his phone down. "I guess Josh isn't the only one freaking out," Zac announced; shaking his head. "I just got a text saying Hayley is nervous too." "Hayley texted you?" I asked him, my eyes growing wide. I hadn't seen, spoken, or even heard the mention of Hayley for almost 24 hours and it was driving me nuts. I didn't believe that if I saw Hayley 24 hours before the wedding they will have bad luck, but everyone else did. So since 3:30 P.M. yesterday, I had been separated from Hayley. It was hell. "Oopsie," Zac sputtered, bringing me back to reality. "Is she okay?" I questioned. "How does she look? Does she miss me? What is she wearing? Does she look pretty? Are the bridesmaids taking care of her? Is she-" "Will you calm down," laughed Zac, interrupting my questioning. "I wasn't even her; it was Emily that had texted me about it." "Emily," I repeated, a smirk coming to my lips. "You and Emily sure have texting a lot for the past couple of weeks." I raised an eyebrow. Zac's eyes widen as he started turning bright red. I knew it. "So...so," stammered Zac, looking on the ground. "It doesn't mean anything." "Of course it doesn't," I said sarcastically. "It doesn't mean a thing. "Weren't you feeling like throwing up just minutes ago," reminded Zac, glaring at me a bit. I glared back as I felt my nervousness came back. Damn it. "Thanks a lot," I muttered. "Ten minutes," my dad announced to everybody, pointing to his watch and then at me. "Ten minutes until you and Zac are supposed to enter the church." "Oh god," I groaned, clutching my stomach with my hands, starting to feel nauseous. "I think I'm going to get sick." "You're going to be fine," soothed Jeremy, gently patting my back. "I don't understand why you are so nervous. Hasn't this been your dream since like the day you and Hayley became an item?" "It is," I agreed. "And that's why I am so jumpy. I mean, my dream is coming true. Something I have been fantasying forever and now it is within reach and...." I covered my hand in my mouth, the urge to throw up getting stronger. Zac gave me a sympathetic look. "Wow, you look so green. I don't think Hayley is going to want to kiss you looking like that." "I feel like crap," I admitted to him as Jeremy motioned for me to sit down in a nearby chair. I could see a couple of the groomsmen giving me looks but I ignored them. I was embarrassed enough. "You are it Uncle Joshie," yelled Daniel, running towards me and was about to hit my leg but paused as he saw my face. He tilted his head in confusion. "Why do you looks like da Grinch uncle Joshie? Are we havin' 'nother costume party?" Jeremy snickered loudly before picking up Daniel, shaking his head. "Uncle Joshie is just a little nervous," he explained. "You know he's about to get married, right?" "I know," Daniel stated proudly. "I'm da dude carryin' the ring. He is marryin' Hay-wee right." "Yep," answered Jeremy, before motioning for Zac to get him a brush to do Daniel's hair. "When the priest man says he gots to kiss da bride is he gonna do the same thang he did on youtube cuz it was disgustin'?" Jeremy couldn't answer since he started laughing like a hyena. Even Zac was laughing a bit has he handed Jeremy the brush. "And that's why Daniel is my favorite two year old kid," Zac giggled. "I hate you all," I muttered, placing my head between my knees. "You're supposed to trying to make me feel better, not embarrass the crap out of me." "Oh no," exclaimed Daniel, trying to wiggle out of Jeremy's arms. "Did I off...off..." "Offend," muttered Jeremy. "Offondo you," Daniel finished. "No...it's okay buddy, I wasn't talking about-" But Daniel didn't listen to me as he finally wiggled from Jeremy's arm and ran up to me, giving me a sloppy wet kiss on my cheek. "I hopes that you and Hay-Hay lives happy ever after and makes lots and lots babies that you have to get two house instead of one. Does that makes you feel better Uncle Joshie?" Zac and Jeremy broke down laughing again as I turned bright red, yet again. "You are too much," I chuckled at Daniel, who was looking at me with sincere eyes. "But yes, that does make me feel better. Thank you." "You mean the idea," Jeremy pretended to cough. I ignored the comment as I gave Daniel a big hug and kiss on his cheek to reassure him that I wasn't mad. Daniel smiled at me before hitting me on the head, grinning mischievously. He then wiggled out of my arms and started running around the room, with Jeremy on his tail. "Guess what guys," Daniel yelled, waving his arms in the air. "Uncle Joshie says he and Hay-Wee are gonna make lots and lots of babies that they are gonna need two house instead of one. Ain't that amazin'?" "Oh god," I groaned again, hiding my head in my knees, as I heard snickering and laughing from the groomsman. "Joshie and Hay -Wee are gonna make babies," yelled Daniel, a little bit louder, still running around. "Joshie and Hay....ahhh." I looked up from my knees and spotted Jeremy lifting Daniel, his hands covering Daniel's who was still yelling out random stuff. I couldn't help but smile. Even though Daniel was highly gifted, he was still just a little kid. I forget that sometimes. "So," I heard Zac ask, taking the seat next to me. "You and Hayles are planning on making lots of babies, huh?" I rolled my eyes at Zac before leaning back on back on my chair, forcing myself to relax until it was time to go to the altar. But what...what if Hayley didn't make it to the altar? What if she doesn't love me anymore? What if she falls in love with one of the groomsman? What if she gets hit by another car...."? "Will you just calm down," commanded Zac, putting a hand on my shoulder. "You're shaking even worst then before and you look so spooked it's kind of creepy. You are going to get married not buried." "I wish we could have eloped," I told Zac, putting my hands in my temple and rubbing them gently. "Then I wouldn't have to go through all this crap...it's just so nerve racking. This isn't even necessary. We could have just gone to city hall and done it right then and there and save tons of money." "Yeah, but it would have made you guys a whole lot happier if you could share the experience with your friends and family," countered Zac. "Come on, the ceremony is only thirty minutes." "A lot can happen in thirty minutes," I muttered. "Like what?" laughed Zac. "A bridesmaid trips down the aisle, the priest skips a line in the vows, Hayley say's no..." Zac trailed off when he saw the expression on my face. "Uh...I know that she won't say no. I mean, she loves you dude." I gritted my teeth. "And you guys call yourself friends? All of you guys suck at trying to comfort me. I wasn't even thinking about Hayley refusing...well until now." "I'm sorry dude," Zac repeated, looking guilty. "Gosh, maybe if we had a girl in here things would get better." "Five more minutes," my father announced to the whole room. "Five more minutes until this shin-ding starts." "Shin-dig," Zac whispered, snorting a bit at his childish behavior. I don't think he will ever change. I closed my eyes and counted my breathing, trying to make myself not freak out, but no matter how hard I tried, my fears wouldn't go away...and I was starting to feel nauseous again. "Josh," called Zac in a soft voice. I opened my eyes and found Zac staring at me, biting his lip in a nervous way. "Do you...do you think it would help if I gave you my blessing?" "Your...your blessing," I repeated, tilting my head to the side, feeling confused. "I know that our parents have already done that," started Zac quickly, looking more nervous. "But I feel like I should do it too...just so you know that...that I'm okay with all of this. I know I have been a pain in the butt for almost four years -" "It's okay Zac," I interjected. "The past is the past-" "I just want to do this," Zac told me. "I feel like if I do everything will finally...okay." "Really?" I inquired, still processing the idea. "Yeah," Zac told me. "It kind of like a closing...you know, the finale." "The finale of what?" I questioned. "The finale of everything," he answered, playing with his thumbs. "No more fighting over girls, no more distance between us, me finally giving up Hayley...you know, the ending of all the crap we put each other through." "Wait," I said, holding my hand up. "You still had feelings for Hayley?" Zac shook his head and rolled his eyes. "Dude, you're being an idiot. Do you want to do it or not? Hayley and I did it yesterday and after we were done everything felt...I don't know...different. Like the past is finally behind us. It will really be good for your conscience." "Um..." I thought it out for a second. I guess it couldn't hurt. I was over the incident of three years ago, but if this was going to make Zac's guilt go away then I was all for it. "Fine," I told him. Go ahead. I'm all ears." Zac nodded his head before taking a deep breath and putting his hand on my shoulder, staring at me intently. "I...Zackary Wayne Farro, give Joshua Neil Farro my blessing....uh...amen." We managed to stay quiet for three seconds before breaking down in laughter. "Amen," I said in between laughter. "What the heck were you doing, a prayer?" "Seem more like a swear to court," giggled Zac. "Man, it was better when I did this with Hayley." "What did you say?" I asked him, smiling a bit. "I give you my blessing...uh... I love Jesus." Zac automatically stopped laughing, giving me a sheepish grin. "Oh god," I snickered. "That is just so...so...so you." Zac just shrugged, turning a bit red. "One minute," my dad announced loudly, interrupting my laughter with Zac and bringing back the nervousness I had tried to suppress. "One minute before-" "I think we get it dad," I snapped, starting to feel anxious. "One more minute until I go out this door, five more minutes until Hayley walks to me, thirty minutes until Hayley and I are finally husband and wife, and ten hours until the damn honeymoon starts. I FREAKING GET IT? ONE MORE GOD DAMN MINUTE." "Honeymoon?" Taylor said, looking a bit surprised as stuffed more cheese puffs in his mouth "Didn't you already have that two weeks ago at the hospital?" Everyone in the whole room laughed as I glared at Taylor. He stared back, looking serious. God help him... "Will you stop being so melodramatic," my dad said, coming from somewhere behind me. "Everything is going to be perfect." "Yeah," agreed Jeremy, who was still carrying Daniel. "This is your big day so stop wasting your time being nervous and just be mellow." "Mellow," I repeated, tasting the word. I paused for a second. "How the hell can I be freaking mellow?'m getting married in... "Time to head to the church," my father interrupted as he looked at his watch. "The ceremony is going to begin in five minutes." "Oh god," I groaned. The groomsmen laughed at my predicament and made a circle around me, clasping me on the back and wishing me good luck. Taylor was the last one, his usually long curly hair cut short for this occasion. "Don't throw up on Hayley's dress," he told me, hitting my back. "That dress cost a fortune." "Thanks for the reminder," I told him before heading out of the room with Zac right behind me. Hayley P.O.V. "I think I'm going to throw up," I confessed, as Sarah finished placing the tiara on my hair. "Not on this wedding dress" disagreed Sarah, shaking her head. "Just relax, you and Josh are finally tying the knot. You should be doing a jig or something." "I'm too scared to do a jig...I can't even move," I admitted."Do you think that we can propone the wedding for a couple more minutes?" "If we do that," started Emily, who was sliding her phone in her purse. "Josh will be even more freaked out. Zac just texted me telling me that Josh is has green as the Grinch." "You talked to him?" I asked her. "What did he say? Is he alright? Don't tell me he's throwing up? How does he look? Is the tuxedo the right size? Is-" Emily laughed, shaking her head. "Will you just calm down Hayles. Everything is going to be perfect. He's just nervous, that's all. It's not like he is planning on escaping." "What?!" I croaked, whipping my head to her direction so fast that I almost got whiplash. "He's going to leave me. He can't...he won't. He..." "Thanks a lot Emily," I heard Sarah mutter, rolling her eyes. "And I just got her hair the way I want it. Now I have to start over again. "Sorry," apologized Emily sheepishly. "I didn't think she would freak out so easily." "I'M NOT FREAKING OUT," I yelled. "I just want to get this over with. I have never felt this nervous in my whole life." "You sure you are just not having second thoughts?" inquired Emily. I glared at her. Emily looked down, staring at her silver high heeled shoes. "Sorry." "You guys suck," I told them, turning back to the mirror to let Sarah finish my hair. "You guys are supposed to be encouraging me, not freaking me out." "You're freaking yourself out. Why the hell would Josh back out of the wedding? That is just so ridiculous." I just groaned, staring at myself in the mirror. The dress fits perfectly clinging in all the right places, my make up was done lightly but beautiful, and my high-heeled silver shoes made me look a couple inches higher. And even though I was freaking out a minute ago, it didn't show in my face. Thank god. The girls and I are were quiet for a while as Sarah tried to fix my hair, humming a Jimmy Eat World song as she did so. I heard a phone vibrate and watched in the mirror as Emily opened it, and smiling faintly as she read something from it. "Remember," I reminded Emily. "You have to turn your phone off before we head out to the church. I don't think people will be happy hearing the chipmunk song while Josh and I are doing our vows." "Yeah, yeah," murmured Emily inattentively, quickly typing something on her phone. "Who are you texting anyway?" asked Sarah. "Your smiling like you won a million dollars." "Zac," replied Emily absentmindedly, still texting "That doesn't explain...oh..." Sarah grinned before finally finishing with my hair. I grinned with her. Sarah finally finished with my hair and I checked myself in the mirror satisfied as the bun on the top of my hair and the curls that we on my face. "So," began Sarah, wiping her hands content with how my hair was. "You and Zac have been texting a lot. What's going on between you too?" "Wha...what are you talking about?" I watched Emily stammer, my grin getting wider. "He was just...uh...telling me about what's up with the boys." "So nothing is going on between you two?" questioned Sarah, raising an eyebrow. "What would be going on between us that you guys didn't know," scoffed Emily, trying hard to laugh but it sounded to me like a nervous chuckle. I smiled. Her reaction to Zac reminded me of someone. "So," began Sarah again, moving a few strands of my hair. "I guess you don't mind if we just check out your phone for a second." "Don't you believe me," squealed Emily. I grinned again as I checked Emily's facial expressions out in the mirror. Yep, she definitely reminded me of myself when I was dating Josh. She looked so cute trying to feign her innocence. Too bad Sarah and I didn't buy it. As Emily was arguing with Sarah trying to convince Sarah that she and Zac were not a thing, I moved closer to her, and when she wasn't looking, snatched her phone. "Hey," protested Emily, trying to get her phone back. "Be careful with the hair," I warned her as she tried to get closer to me. "You don't want to ruin my wedding day do you?" I gave her a mischievous grin before going through her text messages on the phone. Emily made a face before crossing her arms. "You guys are invading my privacy. You wouldn't want me to read the text messages you guys send to your guys, would you?" "You'd probably throw up if you read them," I acknowledged. "We just text how much we love, miss, and want each other...just like you and Zac." I smirked as I quickly read a couple of the texts. "Awww...." I gushed. "Zac is so sweet." "Stop it," complained Emily, covering her eyes and turning red. "You are making me embarrassed." "H is nervous too," I read out loud. "Their nerves will probably go away when they see each other at the altar. I miss you. Save me a dance at the reception." "Aww," Sarah cooed, standing behind me to read the text. "This is so sweet. Love is in the air." Emily turned even brighter red, still covering her face. "Why did you read that out loud?" "Because it's so cute," gushed Sarah. "Why didn't you end it with 'I love you,' I mean, you have loved him since the six grade." "Really?" I mused, still looking through Emily's phone. "I didn't know that." "Yeah, it was a big secret until you came into town and stole him away," explained Sarah, standing behind my shoulder so that she can read the text messages too. "Why do you think she was so cold to you the first couple of months after you moved here?" "I just thought she was shy," I replied, handing Sarah the phone and giving Emily a smile. "So...have you told him." "That's...that's none of your business," stammered Emily, turning redder. "Hey what's that?" asked Sarah, pretending to listen for something. "Is that future wedding bells I hear?" "Shut up," exclaimed Emily, trying to hold in her giggles. "We are just dating...it isn't even that serious." "So you admit it," I jumped, grinning in victory. "For how long, how did it start, have you guys gone past first base yet?" I wiggled my eyebrows. "Oh my god," groaned Emily, covering her face again. "I wish I hadn't said anything." "You know we are just teasing," reassured Sarah, giving back Emily's phone. "We happy that you and Zac are finally together, it's about damn time." "Damn time," I repeated, giggling again. "Emily has a new boyfriend. Is there anything else you were hiding from me?" "We weren't hiding," defended Emily, quickly texting something on her phone and shutting it off before Sarah could read what she typed. "We just wanted to wait until you and Josh to get married before we made the announcement." "I'm happy nonetheless," I told her, turning around towards the mirror and giving myself one more look over before I turned back to her. "I really wish you guys the best." "Thank you," said Emily with a smile. "And I hope Josh is knocked off over his feet when he finally sees you in your dress." "More like drooling," muttered Sarah, shaking her head. "That s what he does half the time anyway when he's with Hayley. I withheld a giggle as I blushed bright red. The dressing room door then opened and Mrs. Farro stood behind it. Instinctively, I gulped and looked down avoiding eye contact. Ever since the day in the hospital I have done everything I could to avoid her. I was still embarrassed with the fact that she caught Josh and I in the middle of...you know...and I haven't been able to face her much since then. What makes it even worst is that Mrs. Farro actually seems nicer to me...if that is even possible...then before. I don't understand why though. I mean, I expected her to yell at me, ruin my dress, order me to never see her son again, not be all sweet. If I caught my son in bed with a girl I know I will freak out and probably push the girl away, not be all fairy god -mother on the girl. "Oh Hayley," cooed Mrs. Farro, running up to me and giving me a huge hug. "You look so beautiful in that dress. I know Josh's eyes will pop out when he sees you." "Uh...yeah," I stammered. "Probably." "Oh don't be so modest, you're gorgeous." "Um...thank you." I could hear Sarah and Emily coughing in the background and resisted the urge to give them the finger. They knew how uncomfortable I was with Mrs. Farro, but they love to see me squirm; stupid best friends. Mrs. Farro finally let go of me and gave me a genuine smile. "So...are you ready to be the new Mrs. Farro?" she asked me. "Ready than I'll ever be," I replied, smiling a bit. "I cannot wait until you are officially in the Hayles," Mrs. Farro told me. "You make my son so happy." "In more ways than one," I heard Sarah fake-cough. I glared at her, warning her to shut up, but Sarah just gave me a mischievous grin. "Well, you don't have to wait any longer. Josh, Zac, and the priest are already at the altar. The ceremony will begin in five minutes." "Five minutes," I croaked, starting to feel nauseous again. "You'll be fine," Mrs. Farro chuckled, patting me on my shoulder. "Everything is going according to plan. Come on, the bridesmaids are waiting in the second room." She gently grabbed my hand before walking me to the other room where all the bridesmaids, the two flower girls(my little sisters), and the main of honor(my mother)waited for me. When they saw me entering, they started gushing on how pretty I looked, how perfect everything is, and all that other junk. However, all I could focus on was the clock in front of me, telling me that I now only had four minutes left until the ceremony. I clutched my hands on my stomach, feeling even sicker than before. "Oh no," gasped Sarah, pushing the bridesmaids to make her way in front of me. "Please, don't tell me you are really going to throw up on this dress Hayles? You know that we don't have another one." "Shut up," I groaned. "I'm just super, super nervous while being super, super happy. It's a weird combination, alright?" "Well, try to look less green. We have only three more minute before the ceremony begins." "Three more minutes," I squeaked. "Just relax," advised my mother, taking my hand. "Everything will go according to plan. In thirty minutes you will be a wife." "Wife," I squeaked again. "Two minutes," announced Emily, looking at the big clock in front of us. "Oh god," I moaned. "Now listen here Hayley," commanded Mrs. Farro's mother, grabbing my shoulders and making me look at her, straight in her eyes. "This is going to be the happiest day of your life. You will be marrying the man of your dreams...who happens to be my son. You guys have been through so much to lead to this day and you should be milking this day for all its worth. You only get to have your wedding day once and you should appreciate everything and everyone who helped you lead to this day. Don't be afraid. Everything is alright. It's not like your pregnant..." She scrunched her eyebrows as she thought about it for a while. "Right?" I shook my head no and Mrs. Farro made a sigh of relief. "Look," she began again. "I know you have felt awkward after I caught you and Josh in a compromising position and I admit, I was taken aback at first, but now I'm fine. You are Josh's perfect girl, someone he loves more than himself; you are his soul mate and because of that I don't hate you. You never took advantage of him, you only wanted the best for him, you will sacrifice anything to stay with him and because of that, I don't care what else you and Josh do...as long as you have and love one another." "Mrs. Farro," I sniffed, trying to hold back my tears. This was one of the sweetest and sincere pep talks I had ever gotten from someone...even from my mom; I guess I know where Josh got his gift from. I didn't hesitant as I hugged Mrs. Farro, almost squeezing her to death. "Thank you." I could feel tears fall on my cheeks as Mrs. Farro hugged me back, crying too. "Show time," I heard my mother announce. Slowly I let go of Mrs. Farro, who was still crying too. I touched my eye afraid that I had ruined my make up but then remembered that Sarah had used water proof mascara saying that I might need it. I guess she was right. I looked around the room and saw my Sarah, Emily, my mother, Mrs. Farro, cousins of Josh and I, and my little sisters smiling at me, silently telling me that everything was going to be perfect. I couldn't help but let a little giggle at the warm feeling I was having. Mrs. Farro then nodded her head and motioned for Sarah, the first person to walk the aisle to go ahead. Sarah ran up to me and gave me one big hug, smiling widely. "Good luck," she whispered to me, before letting go and scurrying out the door where she and Jeremy will meet in the back of aisle and start the long walk to the altar. I took a deep breath pushing all negative thoughts aside and watching one by one as the bridesmaid left the room. I could feel my heart beating radically in my chest as the room started to empty. When it was just my mother and I left in the room, I felt like I was in the middle of a heart attack. When it was my mom's turn to leave the room, she hugged me tightly before kissing my cheek. "I love you sweetie," she whispered. "I wish you the best." I just nodded my head, afraid that if I opened my mouth, I would start bawling. My mother kissed me once more on the cheek before disappearing out the door. I only had to wait fifteen seconds before the door creaked open, and my father was standing there, grinning at me. He motioned for me to come and I slowly made my way to him; my heart still beating heavily on his chest. "Everyone's waiting," he told me, linking my arms with his "Is Josh there?" I asked him, still trying to calm my breathing. "Where else would he be," chuckled my father, slowly walking me out of the room. "I'm glad you could make it," I whispered to him. My father smiled. "I wouldn't miss little daughter's wedding for anything else in the world. I'm glad you and Josh decided to finally tie the knot." "Me too," I told him. We finally reached the back of the aisle and I saw everyone stand up, turning their attention to me. I looked straight ahead and saw Zac give me a sly thumbs up, grinning like the idiot that he was. Josh's back was turned to me, but when the music changed to a wedding march, he slowly turned around. I held my breath. Josh's eyes widen when he saw me and his mouth dropped down in shock. I held in a giggle. All my nervousness, all my fears, all my emotions that threaten to overwhelm before disappeared as my father and I took the first step down the aisle. The only emotion that I was feeling was love...my love for Joshua. Josh's eyes never left mine as I walked down the aisle, and my eyes never left his. It seemed like an eternity until I finally reached the end and when I finally reached the end, I knew that it took all of Josh's power not to snatch me away from my father and have me right then and there. But he stayed calm as my father kissed me gently on the fore head and clasped Josh back before giving him my hand. Josh's hand intertwine with mine as we turned to the priest, who was smiling at both of us. I turned to Josh who was grinning like a fool and I knew that I was no different. "We are all gathered here today..." Fin... Just kidding. There was a 50 percent chance that I was just going to end the story here. However, I don't feel like I'm completely done so there are a couple more chapters under my sleeve.(Probably one or two plus an epilogue) Sorry for disappearing from the world of buzznet. I really have no excuses except that I am a lazy person. You would think that having a week off of school due to the floods in Georgia, I would be updating every day, however, writing this chapter has been really difficult. I wanted to tie all loose ends and so it took a while. I was planning on updating yesterday, but buzznet was not working correctly for me that day and so I am sorry. I PLAN on updating part two sometime this week. Again, sorry for the lack of updates and thanks for your patience. Related Groups:
